Dr Ruaraidh Dobson discusses how STRIAD:AIR is currently helping Meath County Council to monitor air pollution levels and demonstrate the impact of changes in health in the local community.

Meath Environmental Platform

Meath County Council’s Environmental Platform came online in January 2024, and is now a public resource for Trim residents, the County and wider stakeholder groups to get the latest updates on local air quality levels and their impact on public health.

The Trim Air Quality Project has allowed us to see the invisible. We can inform local stakeholders of improvements in air quality, showing positive change, encouraging further action, and achieving a positive feedback loop.
