Aneeq is currently working as data scientist and is involved in the Intelligent Reporting of Organised Networks (IRON) project, which is an innovation project affiliated with CESIUM, exploring the application of various data science, machine learning, natural language processing and graph analytics techniques to combat organised crime and child exploitation and to enable early intervention.
Aneeq holds a MSc in Data Analytics from the University of Sheffield, UK and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan. Prior to joining Trilateral, he has been part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) aimed at the application of Machine Learning in the insurance space. He has also worked as a data scientist for Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) at the NIHR BioResource, curating complex datasets for use in clinical research for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). His master’s dissertation revolved around probabilistic programming for non-parametric models and the Bayesian Gaussian Process Latent Variable Model (BGPLVM) with different variational inferences.
Aneeq is interested in research around the trade-offs exploring trust-worthy, ethical and scalable machine learning without compromising model performance.
