Anjhana Damodaran

Research Impact Officer

Role at Trilateral

Anjhana works to increase research impact among key stakeholders by leading research communication and dissemination activities for EU Horizon 2020 projects including STAMINA, CC-DRIVER and DARLENE. 


Anjhana is from a social policy background with a specialism in social research. She is trained and experienced in qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation as well as communicating research outputs tailored to different stakeholder audiences to enhance research impact. She has a professional background in social research, research communications, strategy and organisational development, program management in NGOs, universities and think tanks.  


Her research interest includes labour migration, race and decolonisation in higher education, social movements and social security/social care policies. Anjhana holds an MSc in International Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK and a BSc in International Relations from the University of London, SIM Global Education, Singapore. Her MSc dissertation analysed migrant-serving civil society groups’ perceived change in opportunity structures in influencing migrant worker policies after the outbreak of Covid-19 in Singapore.  


Her reading interest revolves around social movements, intersectional inequalities, social innovations, she enjoys exploring these topics in the form of poetry and in writings that weave these issues into philosophy.
