Anna works to lead the dissemination of various EU funded projects related to agriculture and climate change, digital security and disaster preparedness. She is interested in the way that technology interacts and shapes social attitudes and lives.
Anna has a Master’s of Science in Gender, Media and Culture from The London School of Economics where she continued her research on representations of gender-based violence in broadcast journalism. Her dissertation served as an analysis of gender-based power hierarchies in media newsrooms. Additional areas of research interest include the intersection of technology and digital activism, as well as anything to do with media, power and identity. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations with a focus in women’s studies and has published writing on diversity, inclusion and political representations in media. Before joining Trilateral, she worked in technology and non–profit public relations in San Francisco and San Diego.
