Research Analyst

Role at Trilateral

Giada Anversa is a Research Analyst at Trilateral Research. Her current focus is on the EU funded CC-DRIVER project, conducting a study on the socio-economic impact of cyber deviant and criminal acts, integrating a variety of methodological approaches used in previous costs of cybercrime research.  


Giada’s background lies at the crossroads of Economic Development, Regional and Urban Studies. Her area of expertise includes the spatial dimension of socio-economic development processes linked to the increasing digitisation of economic sectors, with a focus on territorial and social disparities. She holds a PhD in Urban Regeneration and Economic Development from the Mediterranea University (Italy) where she was a post-doctoral researcher. She also earned a MArch magna cum laude and pursued her studies in Europe (ESDP in spatial planning at KTH University, Stockholm) and the United States (Economics for Planning and Public Policy Analysis at Northeastern University) acquiring a solid and inter-disciplinary background with a strong orientation towards collaboration and exploration of novel approaches to social science research arising from different areas of knowledge. From 2015 to 2017, she was Visiting Scholar at Northeastern University (Boston) and San Diego State University, California. Thereafter, she has been participating in several European (Horizon 2020) and National funded research projects in the area of regional and urban studies. Her dissertation explored the regional determinants of digital enterprises across Italian Regions, adopting a multi-dimensional and supply-side approach.
