Rory provides subject matter expertise and advice on defence and security issues. Primarily focuses on the development of HAMOC and STRIAD. Helps to explain how Defence and wider government works and how best to navigate working with the Defence and Security sector. Provides insight into what the customers wants and how best to meet their needs.

Background

A dynamic and versatile director and manager recognized at Senior Board level as a skilled strategic thinker, always getting to the heart of problems and solving them. Expertise in strategic planning, operational delivery, management of major change programs and a proven record as a leader. Decisive, resilient and comfortable with responsibility. Achieved the rank of Brigadier in the British Army. Awarded an OBE in 2003 for command of his regiment during the invasion of Iraq.
Led delivery of Operational Logistics in Iraq and Afghanistan; leadership at high level; management of $200+ million budget; personnel management; MA study in international studies at Kings College London. Experience of working at highest levels of command and government policy. Proven success record on delivering support in the most testing and complex conditions. Highly experienced in working in multi-national organizations including NATO, ABCA and NSPA. Life member of the Royal College of Defence Studies and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics.
